How We Coach - Coach Support & Development

Coaches and Assistant Coaches are encouraged to openly discuss and improve their knowledge of football in order to offer the players the best possible guidance throughout their development.

Caversham Trents Football Club will organise a number of Coach Development meetings and practical sessions throughout the course of each season to support this.

Coaches must commit to the FA Level 1 Coaching Course and maintain up to date Safe Guarding Children, First Aid Certificate, CRC Check and FA Licenced Coaches Club Membership.

Assistant Coaches are encouraged to commit to the FA Level 1 Coaching Course, but must commit to undertaking and maintaining up to date Safe Guarding Children, First Aid Certificate and CRC Check.

Full details of Caversham Trents Football Club Roles & Responsibilities and accreditation required for various positions within a Team age group are detailed in the Documents Section.

Caversham Trents Football Club will support coaches to undergo all training and cover the financial cost of courses up to FA Level 1. Requests for financial support for other courses should be agreed prior to booking.
