Please see request below from Highdown School - Park responsibly and no dogs on Site.

Dear All

Whilst we love to see the facilities being so well used we are also aware that there are many activities and school functions that take place in the evenings and weekends.

We have a small Carpark. Please could I ask that you remind your parents or guardians to park with consideration to others. We are legally obliged to ensure that entrances and exits are kept clear in case emergency vehicles need to gain access to other parts of the site, so please do not block them.
We encourage those who live locally to walk or cycle. If you are coming with friends, you may wish to consider car sharing.

The second point I would ask you to remind parents of is that we do not allow dogs on site. there is a large sign at the entrance to Highdown but they don't seem to take notice so please remind. Nor is anyone allowed to smoke on site. This is a public facility and a school. Please understand that we are looking after student welfare and safeguarding during the day by not allowing these to happen on site.

Your support is greatly appreciated to help keep Highdown a safer and healthier place for all stakeholders
