RESPECT THE RESPECT LINE

Please see below message from CTFC Committee

It is a requirement of all clubs to have a respect line on one side of the pitch for spectators to stand behind. This can be achieved via cones, barriers, or line paint. All CTFC home pitches have a painted respect line on one side of the pitch.

All parents and spectators must be on the respect line side of the pitch and behind the line. In the first two weeks of the season lots of parents have chosen to stand on the opposite side of the pitch and / or wander round the pitch, this is against FA rules and the Respect Codes of Conduct that you have signed up to.

Our coaches have enough to do setting up the pitches, warming up the players, discussing tactics, greeting the opposition and card checks to name a few, without needing to act as stewards to parents and siblings.

So we politely ask that ALL SPECTATORS STAND BEHIND THE RESPECT LINE for the whole of the game whether you are home or away, or at a BYDL game.

And you may also note that coaches and substitutes stand the opposite side of the pitch. This is an FA recommendation, but they may if they wish operate from either side.

Finally, coaches, substitutes or spectators, must not stand behind the goal or anywhere along the byline.

Thanks in advance for your co-operation
